Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond is a type of guarantee. A guarantee of what? Usually a guarantee of a commitment, as opposed to a consumer guarantee. If you default on the commitment, a claim can be made against the bond, as is the case if your business collects sales tax for your state. You agree to render the moneys to them, and if you do not the government has the bond to use as a form of collections. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of combined industry experience, so call us even if you are concerned that your poor credit history will prevent you from being bonded. Call 800-314-7003!
If you are bidding on public projects for the City of Eastlake you may be required to post a Bid Bond. The Bid Bond guarantees you will be able to provide the Performance Bonds required in the event you are the low bidder. In essence the Bid Bond pre-qualifies you for the work you are bidding on. Not all jobs require bonding but if they do we can assist you with Bid Bonds, and subsequent Performance and Payment Bonds as required by the state. Eastlake is a city in Lake County and it is the 100th most populous city in the State of Ohio. Eastlake started out as a part of a grant from the Connecticut Land Company, and included land on both sides of the Chagrin River. Eastlake is easily accessed by Lake Erie, which makes the city a regional favorite for outdoor water sports like boating. Today Eastlake is known for being the home of Akron based FirstEnergy, and whose plant shutdown in 2003 led to the North American Blackout of 2003.
The City of Eastlake is ideally located at the mouth of the Chagrin River, not a far distance from Interstates 90 and 271, and at State Route 91 in Lake County. The citizens of Eastlake believe in their city and their country. City Hall has become the home of the Boulevard of 500 Flags, a display of American Flags that also serves as a memorial of the residents of Eastlake who served the country in time of war. On September 11th 2002 the America Remembers Memorial, a memorial to those who died on September 11, 2001. The monument includes steel beams from the World Trade Center, among other things. What are site improvement bonds? When a contractor takes on a subdivision construction, that contractor is responsible for building the infrastructure that feeds the subdivision, like sewer and water lines. The government wants those things to be of high quality because it’s the government that will be taking it over after the project is finished. To guarantee that the work is done up to code, it requires a subdivision contractor to take out a bond that can be claimed if the work is not done properly.
What is a street opening bond? These types of bonds go by other names in some states but they are required by municipalities or counties when a company, say a construction company, needs to dig in the ground to do some work. When a company does so it risks damaging water or sewer lines, and the street opening bonds protects the city from damages done to the infrastructure when said company “opens the street” to do the work it needs to do.
