Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond is an agreement between three parties. The principal is the party that buys the bond, the obligee is the party that wants the coverage, and the surety is the party that backs the bond. An example would be a DMV driving school, which must obey a host of regulations, and guarantee that they will do so. If the regulations are broken, the company can be fined or have a claim made against the bond. The role of the surety here is to make sure that the DMV school meets its obligation of paying any valid claim, in which case the surety loans the school the money. The surety doesn’t take responsibility for the claim, it just makes sure that the obligee is satisfied. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of combined industry experience. Call even if you are worried you can’t be bonded because of past credit history. Call 800-314-7003!

Fostoria is a city in Hancock, Seneca, and Wood counties, and it is the 132nd most populous city in the State of Ohio. Fostoria started out as a merger of two other communities, Rome and Risdon, and it was named after one Charles W. Foster, who owned land donated to a couple of combining Methodist churches. Incidentally, one of Foster’s sons, Charles, became the 35th governor of the state. Today Fostoria is a distant suburb of Toledo, and is known for its famous glass manufacturing industry, as well as the large number of trains that pass through the city.
Fostoria is in a convenient location in the state. Five state routes and U.S. Highway 23 run through the city, which makes it ideal for a distribution center by either truck of railroad. Additionally, the Ohio Turnpike, Interstate 80/90 and Interstate 75 are nearby. When you take into consideration the large number of undeveloped sites that are ready to be exploited, you have a great combination of factors that make Fostoria an ideal place to start, relocate or expand a business. The city also has an active economic development office and chamber of commerce at your disposal. Call the Fostoria Surety Bond Pros Today at 800-314-7003!
Surety bond or letter or credit, which is better for me? They are both three way agreements, and at an abstract level are equivalent. But look at the details and you see something different. With a letter of credit, the bank freezes your assets in the amount of the letter, and they are in effect unaccessible until the bank releases the funds. This freezes up assets you need to do business. Also, when a claim is made on a letter of credit, as long as the claimant provides certain requisite paperwork and meets a deadline, the bank will pay it out. This of course makes fraud easier, since a surety investigates claims.
I’m having problems qualifying for a bond any more. What has happened? If the reason you are not being issued a bond is low credit score, you might just have to raise your score a few points to put yourself over the top. Others lose out on a bond because their business assets have been depleted recently, as would be the case if your cash deposits get too low. Another reason you might be refused a bond is if you have had too many claims recently. Call Pro Surety Bond to see if you qualify for a bond with us. Give us a call at 800-314-7003
