Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? Surety bonds make someone financially responsible for a contractual obligation. If you are a public official, you need to be bonded as a measure that protects the state and therefore the taxpayers from mismanagement of state funds. In Michigan these bonds are called public official schedule bonds, because the bond has a list attached to it that contains the names of the officials and the amount of coverage each one has. It’s like a blanket bond, but a little more specific about the coverage. Surety companies take on these sorts of risk so that taxpayers don’t have to. If a claim is made, however, the surety will come up with the money for the claim but bill the principal. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of combined industry experience. Call even if you have misgivings about applying for a surety bond with your bad credit. Call 800-314-7003!

Holland Township is a charter township in Ottawa County and it is the 47th most populous in the state of Michigan. The community gets its name from the country, and it was named by one Reverend Van Raalte, who led a number of groups of colonists from the Netherlands to the area. Soon a dam was built across the nearby creek, a furniture factory was built, then grist mills and a tannery. Beginning in the mid-19th century the community began making bricks and by 1900, they wer making about 20 million bricks a year.
What are court bonds? Court bonds are bonds required by a court of law, but there are several subtypes. Fiduciary bonds for example cover a person, either alive and incapacitated, or a deceased with an estate. Specifically, they cover the mismanagement of assets the come with having access to those moneys. Other types of court bonds cover parties in a lawsuit, particularly when one of the parties uses the courts to remedy a problem during a case—with an injunction for example—and that remedy is found later incorrect because the party that sought the remedy was ruled against. What are commercial surety bonds? Commercial surety bonds exist mostly to induce a business to operate according to regulation, or have a fine levied or a claim made against the bond. They are an integral part of that regulator system for most industries, though they have other applications that are not strictly “carrot and stick.” The most common commercial bond is a license and permit bond, and these bonds are bought as a condition for receiving a license or permit.
Many commercial bonds deal with businesses that handle the money of others, usually as brokers or agents. Examples of these kinds of commercial bonds include: money transmitter bonds; more or less any kind of broker bond whether it be insurance, freight, even surety bonds! If you collect money for the government in the form of sales tax, you will need a surety bond to guarantee that the money makes it to you state’s department of revenue; and the same goes for lottery tickets, yes there are lottery ticket bonds.
