Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond protects one party from the damages it incurs when another party defaults on an obligation. If you are in the motor vehicle auctioneer business, as a condition to be licensed you were required to buy a surety bond. That surety bond is in place to cover the public against fraudulent activities on the part of auto auctioneers, but it also has the added function of motivating auctioneers to obey those regulations, since the know that is fairly easy to make a claim against the bond. However if you are a financially secure auctioneer,, you can get coverage for several pennies on the dollar of coverage, and this means you don't have to put up any of your own money. The surety will take care of it but you will still have to pay the surety back. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of combined industry experience. Call us even if you are worried that your poor credit will not allow you to get a reasonably priced surety bond. Call 800-314-7003!

Inkster is a city in Wayne County and it is the 74th most populous community in the state of Michigan. The site that would become Inkster was originally inhabited by Native Americans, although the first settlers of European descent arrived in about 1825. The first post office on the site was built in 1857, and was called the Moulin Rouge of all things. The city was finally named after one Robert Inkster, a Scotsman who operated a steam saw mill on what is today Inkster Road near Michigan Avenue. In the 1920s and 1930s the African Americans employees of Ford Motor Company began moving to the area to avoid the long commutes. Today Inkster is known for being one of the few suburbs in the metro Denver area whose population is predominantly African-American.
Can surety companies help construction companies avoid default? It's happened many times. Keep in mind that it's in nobody's best interest for a claim to be paid: you don't want a claim to be paid, the surety company doesn't want the claim to be paid (although they will if they need to), even the company that's claiming that you have defaulted doesn't want to make a claim. They just want the problem solved, and that is often what surety companies do. If there's any sign of a default on the horizon, many surety companies will step in make short-term loans to the principal and work out some kind of arrangement before they get the claim of default. What are license and permit bonds? License and permit bonds exist mostly to encourage you to adhere to the regulations of your industry, they act like a security deposit in the respect that you allow another party to take money out of it for damages. In the case of license and permit bonds, the “damages” might just be fines incurred but not paid. It’s a way of making sure that the government will always be paid. But if there is the potential of forfeit for some of your money, it acts like a “carrot and stick” to compel good business behavior.
What does the term “licensed and bonded” mean? The terms license and bonded come together usually in advertisements because the government requires that businesses put it there to discourage unlicensed businesses from operating. Being licensed simply means that the government has officially approved of you to conduct business in your industry. “Bonded” simply means that you have bought a surety bond. To get a business license in virtually every business and state you need a bond. Surety bonds covers any number of things including the public against a business that conducts fraudulent practices ; they could also act as a kind of insurance for unpaid fines; but in general they act as an incentive to keep businesses on the straight and narrow.
