Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond financially forces one party to fulfill a commitment it has made to another. What type of commitment do we mean here? Let's say you are an auctioneer. That is a business where you have to handle other people's money, and wherever that happens there's a chance for mismanagement or fraud. To cover the public against these behaviors, the government makes you take out a surety bond as a form of insurance for the public so that they have something to claim if they need reimbursement. For a few pennies on the dollar of coverage, the surety company promise to advance a short-term loan for your to cover the claim, so you don't have to put up your own money. but as a long this money has to be paid back to the surety. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of joint industry experience, so call them for quick service. Call 800-314-7003!

Lincoln Charter Township is a charter township of Berrien County and it is the 132nd most populous community in the state of Michigan. Major Timothy Smith moved to the site that would become Lincoln Township in 1887, from the state of Ohio. He was the first but not the last to go into the fruit growing business, which has been an intrinsic part of the economy. Also playing a large role in history of Lincoln Township is the recreation area known as Grand Mere State Park, which consists of three lakes, actually and its home to several large sand dunes, ranging from 3 to 10 thousand years. The original spelling for the name was “Grand Marais” which in French means “big marsh.” In the early part of the twentieth century the community became know for its ice cutting industry, which offered ice all year round.
Lincoln Charter Township offers a number of incentives and exemptions for those companies looking to relocate their business, start a new business or even expand a business they already have. Incentives include Industrial Facilities Exemption Certificates, which are essentially property tax abatements; there is also a Revolving Loan Fund for Industrial Facilities and it’s administered by Berrien County; finally, there are two programs administered by the state of Michigan: Infrastructure Grants for Municipalities and a Workforce Training Grant. What is a Fidelity Bond? Fidelity bonds are bonds that companies buy to cover their customers, particularly in cases where one company sends employees to the site of another company (as would be the case, for example, with a cleaning company or temp agency). The bond covers the ladder company against theft on the part of the former company’s employees. Fidelity bonds are not usually required by law, but many companies purchase them anyway because they like to demonstrate to their clients that they're willing to stand up for and be responsible for the actions of their employees. Note that the fiduciary bond does not generally cover damages caused by employees, just theft.
Can I just put up my own money instead of a surety bond? Sure you can, but surety bonds might make more sense. If you put up your own money you will probably have to go to a bank and get a letter of credit, which means that you'll have to put a collateral to back it up. This means cutting into your assets, the assets you need for the credit you need to run your business. If a claim is made against the letter of credit, the bank pays out the claim and start sending you bills for the loan. The good thing about surety bonds is that you don't usually need collateral to get one. When the surety goes through your financial records and it establishes that you are financially stable, then it will issue the bond without collateral. Does anything else make more sense?
