Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond is a way to financially compel someone to live up to their end of an agreement. If you're reading this you probably need a license and permit bond, which means in order to get a license in your chosen industry, you have to have a surety bond in place. This is because there are regulations for your industry, and the government wants a commitment that you will adhere to them. Of course, you can always be fined for infractions, but as an extra measure the government requires the surety bond to guarantee that it has a fund to draw from if the fines are unpaid. The bond also has the added psychological effect of encouraging you to do business honestly on a continual basis, based on the assumption that if you know that a claim can be made against you you're more likely to do things the right way. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of joint industry experience. So call us even if you don't expect that you'll be able to get a surety bond at a decent priced with poor credit.Call 800-314-7003!

Manitowoc is a city in and the county seat of Manitowoc County, and it is the 23rd most populous community in the state of Wisconsin. The exact origin of the town's name is not known, though it is believed to mean “dwelling of the great spirit” in the Anishinaabe language. The first Europeans to settle on the site that would become Manitowoc were Matthew Stanley and his wife, in 1820. In 1835 President Andrew Jackson authorized the sale of lands in the region. Manitowoc is otherwise known for being the site where, in 1962, a 20lb piece of the seven-ton Sputnik 4 crashed on North 8th Street. Manitowoc is located on Lake Michigan near the mouth of the Manitowoc River.
To make Manitowoc look even more attractive to investors, it has a number of economic incentives that it hopes will demonstrate to the business community that it means business. One is the commercial revolving Loan Fund, which has been put towards almost 20 downtown businesses and leveraged nearly $5 million in private investment dollars. It has another revolving fund for the non-downtown area, and that has invested $3 million dollars into nearly two dozen businesses. The program's main aim is to revitalize Manitowoc's downtown district, and provide long-term fixed-rate financing with low down payment requirements. What is the nature of the surety company’s relationship with the obligee? The obligee is the party that wants the coverage from you, the principal, with the surety company being the guarantor. The nature of the three-way agreement amounts to three distinct agreements in reality. When the surety issues you a bond, at the same time it assures the obligee that it the surety will pay any claim, as long as it's valid. One interesting feature about this commitment is that it is absolute, and has nothing to do with your agreement with the surety company. What this means is that the claim must be paid even if you the principal don't agree with the claim, and it must even be paid if you have, in theory of course, defrauded the surety company in some way. Without this absolute commitment to the obligee, the surety bond system can't work.
In what way do surety bonds vouch for building contractors when it issues them a performance bond? In the surety bond industry, they are known as the 3 C's: character, capacity and capital. When it comes to character, the surety investigates your reputation among not only project owners you have worked with, but also with suppliers and other stakeholders who rely on you to come through for them. From the surety company’s point of you, reputation reflects professionalism, and professionalism reflects your character. And as you might expect, there is an inverse relationship between the degree of character and the number of bond claims made. The greater the character the fewer bond claims.
