Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond is a way of financially backing up your word in cases where there is a legal obligation that requires a guarantee. What types of legal situations require a guarantee? One of the most common examples is when you need a business license. If you are, for instance, a moped dealer, you are required to take out a surety bond as a condition of your licensure to protect the public from fraudulent behavior on the behalf of you, your company, or your employees. This bond guarantees that there will always be a fund of money to draw from incase your employees do not behave ethically. If a valid claim is made, the surety company will pay the claim in your name, although you will have to pay the surety back after. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of joint industry experience.Call 800-314-7003!

Reedsburg is a city in Sauk County and it is the 66th most populous community in the state of Wisconsin. The site that would become Reedsburg was settled by married couple named James and Rebecca Babb, who hailed from Ohio. The site had long been used by Native Americans as a convenient place to cross the Baraboo River, and in the 1840s a man named David S Reed build a dam across the river, as well as a shantytown to house the workers who built it. A few years later the site was platted and within five years of that time the town had 50 buildings. Reedsburg is part of the Baraboo micropolitan statistical area.
The city of Reedsburg offers Economic Development and partnerships with banks, consultants, associations, and other area Economic Development agencies. It has also created the Community Development Authority, an organization that is authorized to create projects that are designed to result in the elimination of blight, the clearance of slums, urban renewal, and general redevelopment. It even has an industrial park with sites ranging from 2 to 30 Acres, adjacent to Reedsburg Municipal Airport and half a mile south of State highways and 12 miles from Interstate 90. Why do some legal obligations require a surety bond and others don't? With most "normal" contractual obligations, default on the obligation isn't a matter of life or death, figuratively or literally. In cases like this, if you default on a contract you can be taken to court and sue. Wherever, they say you're a building contractor on a large construction project. a lot of money is riding on whether you finish your part of the contract on time and up to code. In cases like this, the project manager can't wait to sue you in court, because that might take months or years. He needs the job to be finished now, and that's why he requires a guarantee for your work.
Who's the beneficiary in a surety bond transaction? The beneficiary is the party that asked for the guarantee in the form of a bond. This party is also known as the obligee. When a surety company agrees to offer a principal, i.e., the party that needs to pay for the coverage, a surety bond, at the same time promises the obligee that if the obligee has to make a claim against the principal, the surety bond will pay that claim no questions asked. This will even be the case even if the principal does not agree with the claim. Give us a call at 800-314-7003.
