Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond is a way of getting someone to do business in good faith and adhere to a contractual obligation. More specifically it allows for a party to collect damages when another party defaults on a commitment. So let's say you collect sales tax for the Department of Taxation in Wisconsin. It would be nice if the government could accept your word that you will do business in good faith and make your deposits on time, but that isn't how the world works. So how do you show that you will do so? One thing you can do is put up a security deposit, and that is sort of how surety bonds work. If you don't make your deposit, the surety bond is there so that you don't have to put up a security deposit yourself, but you can still assure the other party that the money will be there if they demand it. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of joint industry experience. Call us even if you expect that it will be too difficult to get a surety bond if you have bad credit.Call 800-314-7003!
