Call 800-314-7003! What is a surety bond? A surety bond is a way of establishing Financial accountability when one party makes a commitment to another. Let us say that you own a cosmetology apprenticeship school. Many of the students go to these schools use student loans, and the government wants a way to make sure that if the school goes out of business the students will have a way of getting their money back. The government makes you take out a surety bond to do just that. Surety bonds take over this kind of obligation because they have the financial strength to promise the government that if a claim is made, and as long as it's valid, then the surety will pay that claim as long as the bond purchaser pays security back. Pro Surety Bond has over 25 years of combined industry experience. Call us even if you're worried you won't be able to get a surety bond at a good price.Call 800-314-7003!

Mount Clemens is a city in Macomb County and it is the 117th most populous community in the state of Michigan. The city get its name that gets its name from on Christian Clemens, who first surveyed the site that would be named after him in 1795. When Mr. Clemens settled here he brought a man named John Brooks who built a distillery. The area was rapidly settled after this discovery. Brooks in Clemens platted the land and it was named it after the former in 1818. In 1821 a post office was built, in 1837 the community filed to become a village, though approval did not arrive until 1871. In 1879 it was incorporated as a city in 1879. It was historically known for its famous mineral baths, but the suburban expansion of Detroit eventually encompassed the community.
What is a General Indemnity Agreement? A general Indemnity agreement (GIA) indemnifies the surety company against loss that it incurs when it pays a bond claim. This may sound confusing because maybe you thought that when you bought the bond that the surety company took responsibility for the claim. Well, it does, but not primary responsibility. You see, surety bonds cover obligations one party has made to another, which are at least in theory avoidable. Surety bonds are not insurance, because insurance companies assume complete risk for their policyholders, unlike surety bonds. Surety companies accept responsibility for making sure that the bondholder fulfills an obligation that it is made. Call the Mount Clemens Surety Bond Pros Today at 800-314-7003
When I renew my bond, what kind of documentation will I receive? That will depend on what type of bond is being renewed and who the obligee is. Some bonds do not need to be renewed because they are what's known as “continuous” bonds, but others may require a continuation certificate when you renew. There are some bonds even, that need to be renewed every year, which going through the process every year. These types of bonds are rare, and doing the process over every time is not particularly difficult. In general, you as the bond-purchaser don't need to worry much about what you need to do because the surety company performing the renewal should know what the obligee needs.
What are the important reasons I should avoid bond claims? The most important reason is that you are financially responsible for the claim. Since a surety bond is not insurance, you are not transferring primary risk to the surety company. While you're transferring is your promise to another party that you guarantee a commitment you have made. This means that when he surety company pays a claim, it's actually advancing a short-term loan in your name, and this has to be paid back. Give us a call at 800-314-7003.
